Description

FIRST VACUUM - SOLAS 160 Inflatable lifejacket certified SOLAS M.E.D., vacuum-packed to provide enhanced protection during onboard storage. The vacuum sealing shields the device from moisture, dust and salt, reducing material degradation and keeping the lifejacket ready for use after prolonged periods aboard. Inflation systems
The lifejacket incorporates the following inflation options:

• Automatic inflation: on immersion the system triggers inflation of the buoyancy chamber within 5 seconds. Available with UML MK5 (water-soluble pill) or HAMMAR MA1/EC (hydrostatic) inflators.
• Oral inflation: as an emergency or supplementary method, the buoyancy chamber can be inflated via the oral tube with non-return valve and protective cap.
• Manual inflation: the system can be activated by pulling the manual lever; supplied with UML MICROMANUAL manual inflator (hand-operated only).

Notes
The double-compartment buoyancy chamber is shaped to follow body ergonomics and optimise the in-water position, ensuring immediate body rotation (Spin-Tilt) and keeping airways clear of water. Even with a fully inflated chamber it is possible to swim to a safe location or board a liferaft. According to LSA Code and SOLAS rules, lifejackets must be equipped with SOLAS signalling lights.
