Overview- TEMANO provides anchoring solutions designed to minimize environmental impact and to deliver 54 tonnes pull-out capacity per anchoring point.
Temano® anchor characteristics:- Pull-out capacity: 54 tonnes per anchoring point (equivalent to 100 kg of material)
- Operates on all seabed types
- Reduced impact on the seabed
- Ground bearing pressure lower than a human footstep
- Operating fluid: propylene glycol (colourless, water-miscible, ocean-friendly)
- Service life: 50 years and more (duplex stainless)
Steps to perform an underwater anchoring:- Positioning
- Deployment of the drilling tripod
- Adjustment of the legs
- Drilling
- Injection of natural cement
- Anchor test
Environmental benefits of the Temano® anchor: → Reduced environmental impact throughout its life cycle
Production / Installation- Operates using food-grade hydraulic fluid
- Set in natural cement
- Ground pressure exerted by the installation machine is less than that of a human footstep
- Low raw material consumption
Use- Fixed anchorage: no slippage possible
- Small footprint for better preservation of the seabed
- Low carbon footprint during maintenance phases (lightweight installation)
End of life- Can be removed using methods similar to those used for installation
