Description

Overview
Since the 1970s we have produced anchor winches for inland shipping barges. Initially available with electric and hydraulic drives, in the last ten years the combined electric/hydraulic version has been offered. This configuration provides several operational advantages.

Features
  • Compact construction
  • Reliable operation
  • Low maintenance
  • Easy connection and installation
  • Quiet operation
  • Equipped with stepless speed control
  • Optional wireless remote control
  • Overload protection prevents winch overloading

Supply options
Anchors, chains and steel wire ropes can be supplied if required.

Couplings
All winches are fitted with a claw coupling with a square bore. Advantages include: the coupling cannot block on the shaft; wedge tilting or jamming is impossible; there is no wear of friction material; adjustment is not necessary; oil or ice on the friction material is not possible.

Brakes, surface treatment and mounting
All winch brakes use high-quality asbestos-free brake linings, including for iron/steel chain wheels. All non-white parts are blasted to SA 2.5 and treated with a primer and a marine paint system. The winches can be welded directly to the deck without a foundation, minimising hard-to-clean deck fittings.

Service & matching components
Winches are developed and manufactured in-house; local service and warranty support are provided. Chains and anchors can be supplied from various manufacturers and provided with classification society certificates.
