Overview
Towing winches are a core product for marine operations. They are offered in multiple capacity classes and configurations to suit shipboard towing, rescue and anchor-handling tasks. Hundreds of units have been installed on vessels and offshore installations worldwide.

Design and safety
All towing winches are fitted with robust brakes and stepless friction couplings. Claw couplings are not used on drive drums. Winches are designed for low maintenance and receive surface treatment according to maritime protection standards to extend service life. Units are supplied with an oil-bath gearbox. Open-drum versions are produced on specific customer request.
