OverviewNB67 is Sefine Shipyard's third largest live fish carrier and the second vessel contracted with Norwegian company Intership in 2022. With a 6,500 m³ capacity, this wellboat is configured to support sea farms and ensure fish welfare through continuous monitoring of oxygen, pH, ORP and sanitation. MMC equipment ensures internal fish circulation. During ship-to-ship and ship-to-farm transfers, life parameters such as temperature and stress are measured. These systems are supported by a 15,000 m³/24h reverse osmosis plant.
Propulsion, Power and Dynamic PositioningThe vessel is fitted with a diesel-electric machinery arrangement for propulsion and onboard electrical distribution. The installation includes a DP0 dynamic positioning system to enable station-keeping in variable environmental conditions without anchoring.
DesignThe complex naval architecture and outfitting of NB67 were developed by SALT ship design company to meet operational requirements for live fish transport and handling.
