Description

After having developed a range of new generation horn sails to give a second life to old sport catamarans, the Forward-sailing team turned to the good old laser. This hyper diffused dinghy deserved a sail designed with a more modern horn cut. This new sail allows : -Better power management by opening the top of the sail when cunningham is used -A better speed in light airs with more surface in the tops -A more compact and stable profile than the triangular sail -A new and nice look with the MNX3 silver fabric This new sail perfectly adapted to the standard laser mast and boom is intended for leisure sailing for fun and not for racing governed by the Laser rules. Technical info : - Cut: Cross cut sail, with horn, adapted to the standard Laser rig (mast 5,9m, boom 2,74m) - Surface area 7,1m2 - Material: MNX3 laminated challenge cloth for maximum durability - Luff : 5.1m - Foot : 2.5m - Leech : 5.45m Finitions : -UV treated yarns. -Reinforcement of slats and pull points with black high tenacity Dacron. -2 forced slats at the top and 2 floating slats. -Window in mono-film weft, -3 slats on the leading edge and 2 on the leech to adjust the flow in the horn.
