Included: - (1) Keel Stand Base – K3 - (1) Keel Stand Top w/ Rubber Billet Nests and interchangeable with Brownell pattern (Rusty) boat stands. What makes these stands superior? - The base is hot dip galvanized and sold for less than a painted base. Since the base is constantly in contact with the ground, galvanizing prevents corrosion better than paint. - The entire top is hot dip galvanized, not just bare steel. - Utilizes a rubber billet instead of a block of plywood. Previously used plywood with phenolic resin glue, but the rubber billet is considered superior. - The wingnut collar has been increased from 1″ to 1.5″ in length, increasing the mating surface contact area between the collar and the square acme threaded rod, which increases load capacity.
