Product overview The Raceboardblade (RBB) AR is a raceboard sail designed to cover the full wind range for competitive regattas. Combining the Raceboardblade 9.5 platform with shaping elements from the Raceboardblade HW, the AR provides consistent drive, quick trim response and composure across variable conditions. Developed with the Loftsails Raceboard Team for on-the-fly tuning and race performance.

Built for the full wind range Six battens and four cams produce a firm, stable profile that generates drive in light airs and remains controlled as wind increases. The AR adapts to firmer trim without losing efficiency, making it suitable for regattas where conditions change throughout the day.

Higher aspect ratio A longer luff and shorter boom create an aerodynamically efficient outline with lower swing weight. The rig feels balanced through tacks and gybes and reduces effort when pumping, an advantage during extended race sessions.

Exceptional trim reactivity The AR responds precisely to downhaul and outhaul adjustments. Small trim changes produce immediate, usable differences in profile depth and leech behavior, enabling precise control on every leg and wind shift.

Four TekCam 3s Four TekCam 3s — 35% lighter than the previous generation — stabilise the upper profile and push it forward to improve drive and stability. The lighter cam system allows additional cams without adding weight. Metallic Cam Interfaces (MCI) at contact points ensure smooth, consistent rotation through repeated rigging.

Intended use The RBB AR is aimed at competitors who need a single sail that performs from the lightest breeze to a fully powered course, offering predictable behavior and easy on-the-fly tuning across every heat.

• Reinforced panels — 5 mil bi-axial X‑Ply at the foot, 3.5 mil bi-axial X‑Ply at clew and head corners; double-width seam between clew and window panels for high outhaul resistance.
• Side-alternating X‑Ply batten pockets — minimises asymmetry from panel seams for a balanced profile on both tacks.
• Exposed tack — enables installation of adjustable downhaul systems for precise on-the-fly tuning.
• Track strap with eyelet — strap tension independent from downhaul load for precise tack control without altering sail trim.
