Description

The CV7-BARO3 combines the CV7 sensor for sailboats and a 12 VDC junction box including an electronic barometer with the same NMEA0183® output. The CV7-Baro3 is an ultrasonic wind speed indicator-anemometer combined with a barometer. This sensor is adapted to sailboats’ specific constraints thanks to its oblique arm that leaves the masthead free. It is combined with a 12 VDC junction box with barometer, which enables the atmospheric pressure do be added to the NMEA0183® data provided by the CV7. SPECIFICATIONS Cabling: 4 wires: – Blue: 0V – Yellow: NMEA0183® output + – Green: NMEA0183® output – Measurement range: Wind speed: 0.25 to 80 knots Wind angle: 0 to 359° Temperature: – 15°C (without icing) to +55°C Measurement sensitivity: Wind speed: 0.25 knots Wind angle: +/-1° Air temperature: +/- 1°C NMEA0183® sentences: IIMWV: Angle, Wind speed and Measurement validity WIXDR: Air temperature WIMDA: Atmospheric pressure PLCJ: manufacturer’s data PLCJE: manufacturer’s data Transmission speed: Bd 4800 Complies with the European CE standard BARO3 junction box: Dimensions: 68 x 58 x 22 mm Power supply: + 12 VDC COMPATIBILITY NMEA0183® – Bd 4800 FURUNO©, RD30, RD33, depth sounders, radars, NavNet, NavNet2, NavNet3… GARMIN©, and all devices equipped with a “wind” window and an NMEA0183® input port Navigation software: Adrena, FT NavVision, MaxSea, Noé, OpenCPN, ScanNav, Seapro, Sodena, StatMETEO
