Short description
Asian teak deck slat LP4561500, planed on 4 sides (S4S), 45 x 6 mm. Durable, rot‑resistant teak suitable for new builds and renovation of boat decks and the manufacture of jointed panels.

Finish
Planed on four sides (S4S) to provide a smooth, consistent surface that simplifies installation and ensures uniform appearance after fitting.

Applications
Designed for traditional teak boat decks, custom joinery and various marine fittings. The natural oils in teak give good resistance to moisture, salt and outdoor exposure. Commonly installed over a suitable substructure and sealed with caulking compounds (e.g. SIS 440) to ensure watertightness while allowing wood movement.

Sustainability
Some length variants are available in FSC® 100% certified timber (BV-COC-215791), confirming responsible forest management.

Maintenance recommendations

• Recommended degreasing/cleaning products: ECO100 cleaning powder, ECO 300 cleaning liquid, Teak Wonder Teak Cleaner.
• To protect the deck use Teak Sealer & Protector (TDS) or other products from the Teak Wonder maintenance line.

Installation recommendations

• Press boards firmly with Fixe Deck every 30 to 50 cm; Fixe Deck is available in 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm sizes.
• Use applicators when inserting sealant into the groove to guide the sealant and limit overflow onto the slats.
• When bonding, allow a controlled epoxy glue overflow where required to ensure a secure joint.
