Description

Our decorative sandwich panels are lightweight but incredibly strong. They are manufactured by bonding aluminium honeycomb core in between two skins most commonly made of aluminium, but a wide variety of surfaces can be applied including: - Wood - Stone - Thermoplastic Sheet - Lino and carpet - Formica and laminates - Stainless steel - Kevlar The panels can include a wide range of inserts, edging and joining methods which can be incorporated during the manufacturing stage or added afterwards. They are suitable for a wide variety of applications including building structures, commercial vehicle interiors, bespoke furniture, shop fittings, art and sculptures mounting. A direct print surface finish can also be applied to our decorative composite panels. This involves printing graphics directly onto the aluminium skin’s surface. Panels can either be completely covered or left transparent in areas allowing the aluminium to remain visible and producing a striking effect. As these panels can be cut to any shape or size using our in-house CNC routers they can be used to form feature walls and partitions. Curved panels can also be created, although in this case the print is applied to a vinyl rather than direct to the aluminium.
