With its full gimbal bearing, the IOTA/2 compass is suitable for desk, wall or ceiling mounting. Deck mounting plates with a convenient quick release are available as accessories. This allows the compass to be used or safely stowed in different locations. The mounting plates are available with or without B+C compensations (see accessories). B+C compensation (accessory) is recommended for all compass models.
