Description

Toolkit Software The Actisense team have developed the Toolkit software as a powerful solution to configuring and updating Actisense products. Toolkit customers can view all the devices on their NMEA 2000 and Ethernet network and configure Actisense products, like the EMU-1. It can also be used for updating firmware in the EMU-1, PRO-BUF-1 and PRO-MUX-1. The Toolkit software allows Actisense NGT-1 owners to view NMEA 2000 device information directly from the network, helping users to easily identify potential problems. For viewing live NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 data we recommend our free NMEA Reader software, although this functionality will be added to Toolkit in future. Please join our mailing list at the bottom of this page to find out when new features are added to Toolkit. The remote connection to Actisense products, like the EMU-1, across the NMEA 2000 network from Toolkit allows the user to set the parameters for their specific gauges, alarms and RPM information. Product firmware for the EMU-1, PRO-MUX-1 and PRO-BUF-1 can also be updated using Toolkit. A computer with Windows installed is needed for using Toolkit. If using Mac or Linux, a Windows emulator (like WINE) will need to be installed to use Toolkit. View all operational NMEA 2000 network devices and their device properties Record NMEA 2000 data for later analysis in EBL Reader Configure EMU-1 and NGW-1 Save EMU-1 and NGW-1 configurations to a file for use later Upgrade & downgrade EMU-1, PRO-BUF-1, PRO-MUX-1 and NDC-5 firmware Change the Device & System instances, plus installation details of NMEA 2000 devices
