The propeller shaft seal MTM901 was created to attack the market of medium/large boats and represents the product with the best value for money available on the world market. Thanks to its design, it is the most compact propeller shaft seal in the world. The stationary flange, provided for those who use flanged stern tube, is by standard in 316 Stainless Steel and can accommodate up to 6 radial holes (optional) in which it is possible to connect: an additional flushing, a temperature sensor, a vibration sensor (triaxial), a pressure sensor or a dedicated vent line. The size of the flange, the number, the center distance and the size of the anchor pins can be customized according to need. The stationary ring can be supplied in graphite resin (G) or in antimony graphite (G1) and is provided monolithic or inserted in a 316 stainless steel case. The rotating ring is fixed to the propulsion shaft with a series of grains (up to diameter 100) or with a clamp (over diameter 100) and is available in 316 stainless steel, Duplex or Super Duplex. Thanks to its integrated preload system, the installation is extremely simple and does not require any particular specialization.
