GOODE PowerShellTM Introduction
At GOODE, we started from the ground up to design a water ski boot system that increases edge power, control and comfort over rubber boots.
Water ski boots must perform two functions; 1.) Hold your foot to the ski and provide control and 2.) To release from your foot in a bad fall. Rubber boots do neither well. The tighter you make the rubber boots for increased control, the more they hurt and the less they come off in a fall. The looser you make a rubber boot the more comfort and safety you will have, but you will lose control and power.
The GOODE PowerShellTM System does both of these functions better. The GOODE PowerShell Boots fit comfortably on your feet and provide increased edge control and power. The InterLocTM System is mounted on a binding plate that is releasable from the ski. It's a screwless binding system.
Never before has a high end binding provided ultimate lateral support with unsurpassed heel hold down while still being easy to get in and out of. We introduce the Draft with patent pending Hinge Tech. The first and only step in slalom binding on the market. Pull down the lever and simply step into the binding effortlessly. Pull the lever up and give the laces a tug. Simple as that, no strain, no stress. You now have more energy for the best slalom set of your life. High and stiff the Draft features a molded lycra lined toe rubber so you feel like you have been breaking it in for years the first time you put it on. A neoprene lined heel rubber with perfectly positioned achillies pads give performance and heel hold down feeling like you have never felt. A leather wrap holds you tight to the ski translating into responsiveness previously only dreamed about. Comfort lead to performance. Fastback Plates
The overwhelming success of the Draft inspired us to develop the next step in Hinge Tech slalom bindings. We introduce the Fastback. Bringing the patented Hinge Tech to the masses with the first and only step in waterski binding at a value price. Pull the lever down and step in the Fastback effortlessly. Pull the lever up and feel the zero heel lift as the achillies pads hold your heel solidly in place. Give the laces a pull and you are in for a nice smooth ride. The Fastback also features a leather and single lace system as well as padded Gorilla Grips. A soft foot pad cradles your foot and the side-mount hardware allows for a comfortable fit. The Fastback is seriously the binding you have been waiting for.
The Performance Series High Wrap is used by tournament water skiers and features thick rubber for extra lateral support to eliminate unwanted movement. The Performance Series can be custom sized using the rubber overlays.
Custom Size the Performance Bindings using the following instructions:
GET WET: Make sure the foot and the bindings are wet before attempting the following adjustments.
ADJUST BINDING WIDTH: N/A
ADJUST LATERAL SUPPORT: Remove the binding from the ski. Unscrew rear horseshoe from under the plate. Pull or loosen rubber overlay to desired size. Replace horseshoe. Screw the binding to the ski. Test adjustment while skiing. Once exact overlay placement is decided, GOODE recommends cutting off any extra rubber one inch or more beyond the edge of the plate to prevent excess rubber from dragging in the water.
For 2007, the classic Animal binding is modernized with an updated, layered overlay construction comprised of a stronger TPU material and embossed synthetic leather. This provides a cutting edge look with superior performance. The newly created "stretch zones" are specifically designed to allow the boot to stretch in the areas you want for easier entry and less cramping, while still providing optimal support in the areas needed.
The "fan favorite" venom boot is updated for 2007 with a new, soft EVA tongue to give you increased performance while maintaining the comfort you have to come to love from the venom boot. The new layered overlay construction, with specifically designed articulated stretch zone and stylish leather patches, is the icing on the cake.
The easy entry, front lacing shock boot was also improved for 2007 with a floating tongue which allows easier entry for a larger range of foot sizes and shapes. Now everyone in the family can enjoy a day on the water with this one boot.
