How to chooseChoice will depend on the wearer's height and weight. Certain models are designed specifically for children and pets. Life jackets with automatic inflation are comfortable to wear uninflated while sailing, and offer the additional advantage of being effective even if the user falls into the water unconscious. A crotch strap offers additional safety. The jacket must be certified by the country where the vessel is registered.
