Gun Sails offers a wide range of carbon masts, which adapt perfectly to your Gun Sails sail bend curve (Constant Curve) and IMCS, whereas it is also compatible with all current sails from other brands.
All Gun Sails masts are produced in high specification Prepreg Carbon Technology and have additional reinforcements in the boom area and stressed zones to extend the longevity even in extreme conditions.
No matter which model you choose, you will get a Top End Gun Sails product with a 24 month warranty.
We offer masts (standard diameter) with the following carbon percentage (in%):
25, 30, 35, 50, 55, 70, 75 and 100 and 2 RDM (Skinny) models in 65% and 100% Carbon.
Length: from 3,70m to 5,50m

30% Carbon - All-round
This entry level Carbon mast offers excellent value with maintained top quality and durability. |
|
55% Carbon - Wave/Freestyle/Freeride
When durability counts the SC-6 rules. This mast has a slightly reduced diameter and increased wall thickness to make it stronger. Boom area and base diameter is still according to industry standards |
|
100% Carbon - Race
With the new Tip and Tip, Base and Base technology the SC-10 is among the lightest masts available today. The center of gravity is low and the reflex response ratio is the highest of any mast in our line.

90% Carbon - Wave
Our 90% Carbon Prepreg constructed SC RDM. Not only for the radical! This mast will improve the handling of wave sails for everyone. Every rider will appreciate the easier rigging, more comfortable handling, and light "bladey" feeling that the SC RDM gives their rig. Includes standard diameter boom adapter.

75% Carbon - Freerace/Freeride/Freestyle
The ultimate Free-race/ride/style mast, features superior durability
and very high performance at an excellent value |

| The high-quality NORTH SAILS silver series has a carbon content of 55% and impressive overall performance. SILVER masts are now also produced using AEROSPACE.PREPREG.TECHNOLOGY, which provides for a computeraided adjustment of the carbon, glass, and resin content. In addition, a heatsensitive compression tape squeezes out excess resin, resulting in lower weight and even better flex. |
|
| A 75% carbon content, high-tech Prepreg production, and excellent dynamics make the GOLD series the undisputable performance, weight, and price leader in the medium priced category. The new polyamide surface in the boom area, which prevents scratching or abrasion, represents a small revolution. The white surface protects the material especially against strong exposure to the sun by effectively preventing thermal overstress from heat that could cause breakage. This reduces material embrittlement while maintaining the bend curve constant over a long period of time. All in all, a top-quality mast for all areas of application that has been made even more durable. |

Reduced diameter mast (RDM) design constructed from 90% pre-preg carbon fiber. Intended for hardcore wavesailing and radical high wind use and fully backed, 100% guaranteed against breakage. Made in China by MacLean Composites.

The demand for lighter masts (and booms) shows no sign of abating as owners request ever-lighter displacement cruising yachts. Anticipating this trend, Rondal became involved in the carbon fibre field at an early stage. Assisted by the Dutch Aerospace Laboratory at the design stage, it is believed that Rondal has chosen the best way of production.
Characteristic for the Rondal carbon fibre mast is that, whatever the length, the mast is built in one piece. Building the mast in one piece has the huge advantage that the fibres in the 0° layers run from top to bottom without any interruption in the fibres. All compression forces can be guided safely through the laminate. |

It's no coincidence that carbon fibre is used in aeroplanes. Carbon composite combines stiffness and strength with low weight. Selden low-weight carbon spars have accentuated longitudinal stiffness. This means that forestay tension can be substantially increased. All experienced racing sailors know what this means in terms of increased performance. The combination of greater stiffness and reduced weight will bring you beyond the speed limits.

Marström spars are used all over the world ranging from the Europe dinghy to the latest Americas Cup designs. We make all spars in a female mould using carbon prepreg. The spars are autoclaved in 125 degrees and at 6 bars pressure.
We produced our first carbon spar in 1985. Since then more than 4500 spars have left our factory. Our engineers and salesmen will guide the customer right through the project. We have a deep knowledge in load calculations as well as in designing custom fittings.
Our latest projects includes the mast for the Italian AC Yacht +39. Estrella Damm and Safran are two IMOCA projects that use Marstrom Spars for the Vendee Globe and the Barcelona World Race. |

The past 15 years have seen a major shift in spar construction from aluminium to composites. The benefits of strength, reduced weight, durability and precision engineering offered by composite construction are now well established.

| Hall seamless carbon-fiber masts have no peer in the combination of light weight, stiffness, and the ability to tune easily for changing conditions. Hall is the choice of the winning Cup crew in the last two events. |

SPARS, POLES & TUBES
We have amassed a broad selection of mandrels over the years and can provide spinnaker poles, bow sprit tubes and whisker poles for just about any boat from 14 to 90 feet. |
|
We have developed our own computer controlled manufacturing method in which prepreg (pre-impregnated) tows are wound onto a mandrel (cylinder) prior to oven curing. This method enables us to exercise full control over every stage of the manufacturing process and guarantee products of consistently high quality. One of the big advantages of this Selden production method is that it enables us to achieve sufficient durability in the areas subject to the greatest loads and wear.

Hall carbon-fiber poles are manufactured using the same aerospace-quality, seamless construction process as our extraordinary masts and booms. Each pole is custom molded on a male mandrel then autoclave-cured to eliminate voids. Hall uses unidirectional, pre-preg carbon fiber for the pole's structure, resulting in maximum strength at minimum weight.
Hall Spars & Rigging spinnaker poles are made for intense sailing. Hall poles save weight on deck, are easier to handle (half the weight of aluminum), and are incredibly tough. Kevlar in key areas protects the carbon from chafe. |
