Subsea Tech is an engineering company based in Marseille, specializing in marine and underwater technologies. Since its creation in 2005, it has been designing and deploying innovative solutions for inspection, monitoring, and intervention in aquatic environments.

With a team of 18 experts, including 10 engineers and researchers, Subsea Tech is structured around three strategic pillars:

A team of highly skilled operators performs visual, sonar, and bathymetric inspections on critical infrastructures:

Engineering structures (bridges, dams, locks, pipelines, water reservoirs, etc.)

Port and naval infrastructures

Production

Design and manufacturing of small and medium series of recurring equipment for military, civil, and scientific markets:

Mini-ROVs: Observer and Guardian

Observation and inspection Class ROVs: Mini TORTUGA (standard or XP4 version), TORTUGA (standard or XP4 version)

Remotely operated catamarans: Catarob, AirCAT, Cat-Surveyor, and SeaCAT

Underwater video systems: UVSIP and TUVSIP

Research and Development

We offer tailor-made solutions to address specific challenges in measurement, observation, and intervention in aquatic environments. Subsea Tech is accredited as a "research organization" by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and is a member of the Mer PACA and EAU competitiveness clusters.

Subsea Tech’s team is essentially from an operational background (offshore oil and gas, subsea work, etc.). Our perfect understanding of the operational context and constraints leads us to develop products that are adapted to and ideally respond to the needs of operators in the field. We are the first users of our products.
