Inspired by the automotive and aeronautics industries, SeaZen was founded in 2015. A first base, opened in Beaulieu in 2016, demonstrates the viability of the economic model of solar boat rental. A second base located in Antibes and opened in 2020 proves that the model can be deployed as a franchise. The design of the solar-powered boat kit is labeled in 2023. In 2024, the SRE model is operated under the most demanding rental conditions on the historic Beaulieu site. In 2025, SeaZen becomes a designer-integrator of solar-powered boats, designed in Nice, manufactured in France.

The energy transition is 50% technology and 50% change of use. That's why it's essential to develop simultaneously boats as well as support services. In these conditions, it is necessary to focus on a single use. SeaZen is specialized in solar boats for private excursions.

Solar navigation does not only offer decarbonized navigation by its use. Over the entire life cycle, it exceeds 70% decarbonization compared to the dominant solutions in the market. It avoids underwater noise pollution, which would be the main environmental damage directly attributable to yachting. It makes it possible to produce a 70% recyclable boat. Responsible yachting is a reality, which has met its audience as evidenced by the success of SeaZen's reviews.
