Kulkuri-Veneet Oy

Kulkuri-Veneet Oy manufactures work boats of reinforced plastic for professional and leisure use in Finland and Northern Europe. The trade name "Kulkuri - Trekker" was adopted in the early 1970’s when reinforced plastic replaced wood as raw material.

Originally, our boats were designed to fulfil fishermen’s requirements for a sturdy and seaworthy fishing boat. Nowadays - as professional fishing has almost come to an end - our clients work in different professions - mostly with tourism, or they are diving clubs and ordinary boaters who need to be able to carry goods on their boats.

It has always been the principle of Kulkuri-Veneet Oy to offer high-quality, well-made boats for its clients. Consequently, all our boats are laminated by hand, using the best materials. The boats can be tailored to fit the client’s requirements - the equipment and degree of completion is individually determined in nearly every boat.
