In continuous exchange with the architects of Catamaris®, the design of your new catamaran or trimaran is created until it meets your expectations in every detail. Then, under the constant supervision of Catamaris®, your new construction grows in one of its shipyards experienced in building multihulls in Holland, Germany and Europe: an outstanding result of maritime craftsmanship is handed over to you.

The design and construction budget is at a comparable level to some "semi-custom" manufacturers. However, with Catamaris® there are no restrictions on the implementation of the client's ideas due to the"full-custom" construction process.

Catamaris® is brand, designer, shipyard and manufacturer of fast cruising, sophisticated “custom-made” performance catamaran, trimaran and sturdy explorer catamaran yachts for worldwide blue-water cruising, including the Arctic and Antarctic from 18-52m.

Our maritime masterpieces are built according to your personal requirements from certified aluminium or high-tech composite material. Our architects: Jean-Jacques Coste is a worldwide leading exterior and interior design bureau for luxury multihulls since 1990. Marimecs Naval-Architects design the sturdy Catmar Explorer® catamarans from 17-24m, including layouts for wheelchair access. All yachts are exclusively built by our experienced shipyards in Europe, yachts under construction can be visited.

Catamaris® works exclusively with renowned architects who also have a recognised name in the field of multihulls. They have designed well-known superyachts from Moonen, Royal Huisman, van der Valk, Feadship, Vanquis, Blue Coast, Blue Bay as well as for the Royal Netherlands Navy and for Catamaris® Catmar Explorer® yachts.

The same applies to our shipyards, which produce exclusively in Europe: Whether in certified aluminium or high-tech composite, our European-based shipyards have decades of experience with the materials and have each built hundreds of large yachts, multihulls and commercial vessels for tough use at sea 365 days a year in all conditions.

The shipyards work with qualified subcontractors for e.g. rigging and sails, electrics, electronics, propulsion, finishing, green electricity, etc., who have also equipped numerous yachts and commercial vessels with high-quality, reliable technology and excellent interiors.

FULL SERVICES AND SUPPORT

Catamaris® is your experienced companion from the first contact, in personal discussions and coordination of your new building project, in the presentation of the shipyards, the specialists for electrics, electronics, drives, also Green Power, rig & sails as well as in discussions with the naval- and interior architects.

We work together with you and the architects to create the building specifications and to draw up the concrete quotation for your new premium yacht, as well as to conclude the building contract with the shipyard.

During the construction phase, we monitor the progress of construction intensively and in detail and report to you on an ongoing basis. We also accompany you on your visits during the construction phase.

We support you with the registration of your yacht as well as with the (eventually) VAT and customs clearance with experts.

We accompany you on the great day of the launching and of course also during the extensive sea trials before delivery.

We can also arrange the most beautiful moment for you, the christening, and we accompany you on the subsequent introductory cruises lasting several days.
