Description

Short description
ZENIT® CHEM is a mineral-based granular absorbent and acid neutralizer designed for handling and neutralizing aggressive chemical liquids, notably sulfuric (battery) acid. It is formulated for rapid neutralization and safe collection of spill residues.

Description
WARNINGS
ZENIT® CHEM is an inert mineral product. During absorption, collection, storage and disposal, observe applicable regulations related to the specific acid or chemical absorbed. The neutralizing action is provided by a mixture of natural-origin components; to avoid storage issues associated with pure chemical agents, the product gradually loses effectiveness after about five years from packaging. Commercial expiration is considered one year from receipt of the goods.

USER ADVICE
For acid spills, wear suitable personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask) before intervention. Sprinkle ZENIT® CHEM over the spilled acid in sufficient quantity to inertize the hazardous liquid (see absorbency/neutralization data). Allow the neutralization reaction to complete — indicated by a foaming reaction, approximately 5 minutes. Collect the treated material and store it for appropriate disposal according to local regulations.

PACKING
Available in 18 L buckets (approx. 10 kg).
