Short descriptionZENIT® A is a granular mineral oil absorbent obtained by thermal expansion and subsequent resin coating. The combined processes produce a hydrophobic, water-repellent granular material that preserves oil characteristics while preventing water uptake. ZENIT® A is used to recover oils and hydrocarbons floating on water surfaces and to treat oily emulsions and surface sheens in water treatment systems before discharge.
Usage methodsFor confined water surfaces: sprinkle the oil layer with ZENIT® A in the quantities indicated in the technical table, using the package valve for dosing. After absorption (the product will darken or assume the color of the absorbed substance), remove the product with water jets or mechanical means to facilitate collection.
SafetyZENIT® A is an inert mineral product and does not require special handling measures. Nonetheless, during absorption, collection, storage and disposal operations, observe applicable legal and safety regulations for the absorbed substances.
