The Xquip stand-off boom is the all-weather tender hold-off solution. The Xquip stand-off boom holds safely any tender away from the ship, without the need of an extra anchor. Get gently the tender from and to the yacht by using the Harken traveller track system under the boom, while still standing onboard the yacht. The stand-off boom has the traveller control lines inside the boom, which results in a minimalistic yet easy to control design. Xquip’s engineering department can advise you on the best way to connect the stand-off boom to the ship and its required mooring set-up. All our stand-off booms will be custom made to the required load of the tender and size.
