Overview
The Viking 70 C is a second-generation 70 Convertible designed for bluewater tournament fishing and long-range cruising. The model combines four staterooms and five heads with multiple helm configurations—Open Bridge (Convertible), Enclosed Bridge and Sky Bridge—while retaining Viking's focus on seaworthiness, fishability and range.

Design & Performance
The hull geometry is refined from recent large Viking convertibles to improve ride quality and efficiency. Slightly narrower beam and adjusted deadrise, chine and strake placement yield a smooth, dry ride and better fuel economy. The integrated cockpit and hull machinery layout preserve balanced running attitude and sightlines for offshore operation.

Layout & Interior
Accommodations include a full-beam master stateroom, forward VIP, two guest staterooms and an aft crew stateroom with private access to the engineroom. Salon arrangements feature a port L-shaped settee with walnut table and a raised dinette to starboard with rod storage below. Galley layouts are available as peninsula (two bar stools) or island (three bar stools). A dayhead is located off the cockpit, with electrical panel, bottle storage and a pop-up HDTV forward.

Flybridge & Deck
The flybridge offers improved aft visibility with a reshaped overhang and a center-console helm with flush-mounted electronics. Three helm chairs line the console, backed by a forward lounge with storage (optional freezer) and dual lounges to port and starboard. The 70 C is engineered to accept a tuna tower, outriggers and omni-sonar integration for tournament use.

Engineroom & Systems
Primary propulsion options include MAN V12X 2200 (2200 MHP) or MTU 12V2000 M96Z (2222 MHP). Running gear features flow-aligned rudders and struts, prop pockets and electronic power steering as part of Viking's Advanced Propulsion System. Notable systems include Spot Zero Double Pass watermaker, ElectroSea raw-water treatment, dedicated engineroom ventilation and fire suppression, and Snow White Awlgrip engineroom finish for maintenance access.

Accommodation & Use
Configured for tournament fishing and extended offshore cruises, the 70 provides abundant dry and refrigerated storage, integrated freezers, comfortable berths and crew facilities sized for long trips. Multiple interior layouts and custom horizontal-grain walnut joinery are available from Viking's Mill.
