The ERLA-Electrical Rotary & Linear Actuator is a servo rotary and linear actuator, designed for operations in demanding environments.

The ERLA-Electrical Linear Actuator is an underwater actuator combining rotary motion and linear motion in a compact and robust format. Designed for subaquatic environments to a maximum of 600-meter depth rate, it offers precision thrust capability and real time position feedback.

The ERLA is versatile and modular. It integrates easily to underwater robots (ROV, AUV) or other platforms for a variety of applications: objects manipulation, sampling, structure adjustments or embedded tooling.

Like our robotic manipulator arm, the EMA 5F, the ERLA can be equipped with different tools as interchangeable jaws (T-bar, parallel, grabber, cutter, etc…). In this case, the linear motion allows opening or closing of the jaw, whereas the rotary motion allows to adjust the orientation.
ERLA is a modular solution which adapts to a number of applications, according to your specific needs.
