Description

The ELA-Electrical Linear Actuator is a smart servo linear actuator with integrates electronics designed to perform in most demanding environments.

The ELA-Electrical Linear Actuator is a compact, powerful and smart electrical actuator, designed for underwater environments to a maximum of a 600-meter depth rate. Robust and versatile, it easily integrates into complex projects where precision, reliability and compactness are critical.

Available in 3 standard versions:
  • ELA Type 1 – from 0 to 4 mm/s (configurable). For the EMA 5F only.
  • ELA Type 2 – from 0 to 4 mm/s (configurable).
  • ELA Type 2 – from 0 to 16 mm/s (configurable).

The ELA integrates an embedded controller with:
  • Programmable position or velocity commands
  • Real time position feedback
  • Smooth and precise control, even in extreme conditions

Modular connectivity:

Its additional connector allows to:
  • Add external equipment (camera, sensor, projector, sonar, etc…)
  • Chain other actuators (ELA, ERA, ERLA) to build interconnected and scalable systems.

Even more data available with the ELA Type 2:
The ELA Type 2 offers four additional functions compared to the ELA Type 1:
  • Activate or disactivate the ELA internal 120 ohm termination resistance to chain actuators on the same line.
  • Access internal telemetry data: motor temperature, internal humidity, temperature and pressure.
  • Get all the actuator’s status information, as well as input tension, rod position and torque.
  • Check the ELA error codes for a quick diagnostic in complement of the general status.
