Overview OptiMate 7 Select (version 4) is a fully automatic 12V battery charger, saver, tester and maintainer for Pb (lead‑acid), AGM and lithium LFP batteries. It uses a multi‑step automatic program to bring batteries safely to full charge without supervision. SAVE recovery mode can recover deeply discharged batteries from as low as 0.5 V. Service (Power Supply) mode provides constant battery support for vehicle tuning, diagnostics, troubleshooting or showroom use. With LFP selected, a 3‑second pushbutton attempts BMS reset for lithium batteries with Low Voltage Disconnect.

• LFP (LiFePO4 12.8/13.2 V): 14.3 V

Operation & key behaviors

• Selected mode retained in memory if AC power is lost
• Ampmatic automatic current adjustment to match battery size and condition (10 A charging current)
• Temperature compensation: voltage raised when cold, reduced when hot; LFP current reduced outside safe charging temperature
• Safe to leave connected: full electronic protection, spark suppression, automatic shutdown on short‑circuit or battery disconnection
• Service (Power Supply) mode: constant battery support for tuning, diagnostics and troubleshooting

More features Suitable for 12V automotive starter (SLI) batteries including STD (with filler caps), AGM, GEL (sealed VRLA) & EFB and 4‑cell LFP (LiFePO4) 12.8/13.2V. Automatically adjusts current to battery size and condition. Connect & forget operation for maintenance charging and long‑term storage. Saves dead batteries from 0.5 V and performs a state‑of‑health test during/after charge. Energy efficient design with Power Factor Correction and synchronous rectification. Weatherproof construction rated for use down to -40°C / -40°F.
