We have designed the Simrad PxPos sensor to improve your control of the trawl operation and thus the overall efficiency of your fishing. Versatile gear and positioning measurement capabilities The Simrad PxPos is a wireless multifunction gear monitoring sensor. We have designed it to improve control and efficiency in trawling. Monitoring the position of the trawl and what is happening in and around it can help you avoid wrecks and obstacles on the seabed when fishing. The Simrad PxPos sensor is more than just a tool, it's the key to unlocking effective, profitable, and responsible fishing. With its ability to provide crucial information, it can significantly enhance your fishing operations. As an upgraded version of the old Simrad ITI sensors, it seamlessly integrates into your existing setup, offering a host of benefits. The PxPos sensor uses 70 kHz for spread measurements, a significant difference from the ITI sensors, which use 200 kHz. To set up your PxPos sensor as an ITI Spread, simply replace your ITI Distance / Spread and your ITI Remote sensors with a PxPos. It's that straightforward. The sensor lid and the position on the trawl determine the type of measurements the PxPos can make. Currently, you can set up the PxPos sensor as any of the following sensor types: Depth Depth/Temperature Height Remote Spread Depth/Temperature Combi and Remote System requirements and compatibility This sensor is a part of the Simrad TP System.
