What is PVC?
One of the most common materials used for inflatable fenders and boats - Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It's lightweight, affordable, and easily maintained.

What is TPU?
TPU is a rising star in the inflatable market thanks to its excellent balance of durability, weight, and longevity. It's highly abrasion-resistant and doesn't suffer tears and punctures easily, making it a great choice.
TPU is also highly weather resistant. It's better than PVC for UV resistance and remains flexible even when the temperature drops to freezing.
TPU inflatable products are generally more expensive than those made from traditional PVC, and you can expect to 50% more for TPU. On the plus side, TPU is cheaper than Hypalon.
