Explorer RTC gas sensor series permit to detect combustibles and flammable gases in ATEX classified areas. RTC 1003 detect combustible gas sensor by thermal conductivity technology for measuring in low O2 mixture or for high concnetrations leves. It comes complete with a 4-20mA transmitter in a Exd enclosure. Transmitter PCB board has a local display for service operations and it also has a special circuitry for temperature variation compensation. The sensors are approved for applications in the naval field: RI.NA, MED e ABS Type approval. These sensors are available in the standard version (VQ-01 type) and also in the "poison résistant" version (VQ-21 type) to endure to the Chemical aggression such as for example solvents.
