Horizontal windlasses offering maximum installation flexibility. Constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel and chromed bronze, these windlasses feature an integrated sensor and magnet for chain counting, and a single gypsy for both rope and chain. The automatic anchor-rode free-fall system enhances convenience, and the unit comes with a chain guide device and pressure lever. The right gypsy is fitted in a mounting bracket, and the motor is watertight with IP67 rating (IP66 for BL3 600). Gearboxes are made from anodized aluminium (1500 W) or technopolymer (600 W / 900 W / 1000 W). Balder FF is ideal for stern installation with its special mounting kit, but it adapts to various needs and combinations. Chain compatibility includes 6 mm, 8 mm (5/16"), and 10 mm (3/8") standards such as DIN 766, ISO, G4, and BBB. Available models include 600 W, 900 W, 1200 W, and 1500 W with voltage options of 12 V or 24 V. Standard accessories include a mounting bracket, contactor units, and a nylon handle. Optional accessories feature an Automatic Stop kit, safety stopper for chain, thru-hull, wall plate, hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker, UP/DOWN control board, switches, handheld control, chain counter, and radio remote control.
