The handholdLight is designed to illuminate the location of the Turtle Handhold Set, improving recognition of handholds and guiding users toward safe access points during low-light or nighttime conditions. It also increases land-side visibility for easier identification from shore or decks.

The handholdLight is solar-powered and uses 4 LEDs that emit sideways light to highlight handholds while improving lateral visibility. Built from transparent, UV-stable and durable materials, the unit is maintenance-free, simple to install and can withstand mechanical pressures up to 10 tons. The expected battery lifetime is 5–7 years.
