AMORE VERO - 2013
85.6m / 281ftCLOSE DETAILS
The owner of the magnificent 85.6m (281ft) Igor Lobanov-designed Y708 has not one, but two decks for his use. Lobanov’s concept moved the navigational bridge down to the upper deck so the owner could have a stateroom aft where it opens to a massive sun deck, or alternatively, forward with balconies and a walk round with seating forward. The sun deck is also made available for the owner’s exclusive use. The clean modern décor of the late Alberto Pinto creates a relaxed airy atmosphere throughout the yacht.
The upper deck has two VIP cabins, both of which enjoy cleverly engineered permanent balconies extended out by exclusive fold-down bulwarks. Without crew intervention, they can, at the push of a button, fold down while stanchions and handrails automatically deploy. Even with these closed, there is a substantial half-shaded area for the VIP guests to lounge when under way. Passing through the adjacent atrium, VIPs find the upper deck lounge, which is also a cinema. The main deck below accommodates eight guests in four generous staterooms amidships where motion is minimised.
The yacht has a massive garage capable of carrying two substantial tenders, a 6m (19.68ft) ski boat, as well as water toys and the technical support logistics they all need. The service and technical spaces are designed to ensure hotel services of the highest standards without any obtrusion on guest privacy. The Rolls Royce Aquarius 100 retractable at-anchor stabilisers ensure guest comfort in any sea condition. Large MTU main engines and thrusters together with the superior visibility achieved through foldout wing stations
