CONSTELLATION - 1999
80m / 262ft
The 80m/262.47ft CONSTELLATION was constructed in tandem with a sistership, STARGATE, and was delivered in 1999. At the time of her launch, she was the largest yacht ever built in Holland, and she pushed Oceanco to new heights. With CONSTELLATION, Oceanco’s “A” Group set about achieving the owner’s requirement for a superyacht that provided superior seakeeping and stability and a 23.5-knot top speed. For the benefit of the owner and guests, the propulsion package goes beyond the outboard mechanics of the propeller system in efficiency and low sound and vibration levels. The two massive 8,160hp (6,090kW) MTU 20V 1163TB73L diesels are placed far aft and drive through two 15-ton Reintjes gearboxes especially designed for the project. By using a U-drive configuration, the engine room space is compressed and allows the main engines to be placed as far away as possible from the accommodation area.
YASMINE OF THE SEA - 2001
80m / 262ft CLOSE DETAILS
The 80m /262ft YASMINE OF THE SEA (ex Stargate), delivered in 2001, was begun as an identical twin to CONSTELLATION. But during the build, her owner decided to make her unique. While she shares a nearly identical hull to her sister, she was delivered a fraternal twin.
YASMINE OF THE SEA was styled and engineered by the designers and naval architects of Oceanco’s “A” Group. The “A” Group joined by Camillo Costantini was also responsible for her interior. The owner has restricted interior photographs being taken and published, but the word "spectacular" comes to the minds of all those who have had the opportunity to tour her immense and fascinating interior.
