Because sailing should not be at the expense of comfort, cockpit cushions have been designed to style the cockpit and make it welcoming and even cosy depending on the model. NV advantages: The cushions can be stored in the cockpit lockers or in the saloon. Access to the cockpit locker is unhindered. Mesh underside for perfect water drainage and good ventilation. Removable covers for easy cleaning. Made in France. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION: Pre 2016: Special coated marine-grade acrylic canvas 350g/m2. Simple mesh underside for good ventilation Closed cell foam (30kg/m3) thickness 40mm. Unsinkable cushions. Fixation by 25mm polyester straps inserted in cleats. Post 2016 product evolution: Special canvas for all braided cushions (consult colours your retailer): warmer than coated acrylic (softer to the touch). Simple mesh under the cushion for ventilation. Two-ply open-cell dryfil foam padding for dual effect (soft seat / firm return) and cover with zip on the underside and selvedge. Attached by glued rail. Cushions are designed not to float. NV TIPS: Store the cushions once the canvas is completely dry. Do not use abrasive products when cleaning the canvas. Store the cushions in a dry, sheltered place in a storage bag: this will extend their life and prevent mould during the overwintering period. For acrylic, regular cleaning with a soft brush, soapy water if necessary and rinse with clear water to avoid salt deposits.
