Product description
Marine Protective Sealant is a spray sealant designed for quick, safe application to achieve a high-gloss, velvety and visually uniform finish. The formula is 100% transparent, slightly deepens colour and imparts strong hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties. Under normal use and maintenance it provides protection for up to half a season against new soiling and weathering such as UV-induced yellowing. Optimised for gelcoats and boat paints of all colours and compatible with salt water. Compatible with all Koch-Chemie products from the Marine line and ideal as a topper for Ceramic Boat Hull.

Areas of use
Gelcoat and boat paint surfaces across the entire boat or watercraft.

Recommendations for use

• Prepare the paint surface by pre-cleaning with Hull PreCleaners.
• If necessary, polish matt or chalked areas using appropriate gelcoat polishes.
• Degrease the surface with Panel Preparation Spray.
• Spray 4–5 times Marine Protective Sealant onto a Polish & Sealing Towel and apply evenly in a crosswise motion to the area to be sealed.
• Work in sections of approx. 1 × 1 m.
• Polish off immediately with a clean microfiber cloth; do not allow the product to dry before polishing.
• Avoid washing the boat or watercraft with chemical cleaners the same day; use a neutral shampoo for routine maintenance to extend sealant life.

Warnings
Check material compatibility before use. Do not apply on hot surfaces. Protect from frost and excessive heat. Do not spray directly onto gelcoat/boat paint — always spray onto the towel as recommended. Risk of slipperiness when used on non-slip or walking surfaces. Follow local regulations and consult Safety Data Sheet prior to use.
