Weir oil skimmer YS series

Weir skimmer consists of two parts: a skimmer and a power station. The diesel engine drives the power station to drive the hydraulic and transfer pumps. The diesel power is converted into hydraulic power (infinitely variable speed) to drive the weir-type oil skimmer floating on the water’s surface to move up and down the weir and adjust the position of the weir appropriately. The upper part of the weir (weir lip) stays on the interface of oil and water, separating water and oil by gravity and recovering the oil. The oil spreader is equipped with a discharge pump suitable for transferring high, medium, and low-viscosity oils. A hydraulic motor directly drives the pump, and the pump speed can be adjusted to suit the speed at which the oil flows into the hopper. The transfer pump can also be reversed to remove obstructions if it is blocked by rubbish or chunks of oil. Weir skimmers are suitable for a wide range of oil viscosities, as long as the oil can flow into the hopper and can be transported by the pump can be recovered. The oil spreader of the weir-type oil skimmer is light in weight and shallow in draft, and the floats distributed at intervals have stable buoyancy so that the skimmer has good wave-riding properties. It supplies the hydraulic motor of the skimmer pump through pressure regulating, flow control, and directional control valves, as well as output connections and hydraulic hoses.
