Isotherm Magnum units are specifically designed for vessels requiring maximum refrigeration, such as those undertaking prolonged navigation in tropical waters. Isotherm Magnum uses surrounding water to increase cooling efficiency. All Magnum models have integrated seawater pumps to circulate cooling water through the cooling section of the refrigerator compressor. The pump is quiet, self-priming, able to withstand dry running and self-ventilated. The highly efficient heat exchanger is made of a corrosion-resistant copper-nickel alloy and equipped with a zinc anode. Seawater-cooled units are extremely efficient and offer greater cooling capacity.
