Overview
The HYCON HPP18E FLEX is equipped with a 13.2 kW (18 HP) motor and offers selectable flow settings of 20, 30, 40 and 46 L/min, making it suitable for professional users in concrete cutting and utility work. The unit provides emission-free electric operation, allowing safe use indoors and in enclosed areas where combustion engines are restricted.
Most conventional electric power packs run the motor at full speed and throttle the hydraulic output. The HPP18E FLEX uses a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to adjust motor RPM and directly control flow between the four settings. This approach reduces energy consumption and increases system efficiency compared with simple throttling.
