Product overview
An air conditioning chiller supplied as a kit to enable replacement onboard vessels without cutting a side opening in the hull. The kit format permits transport of parts through standard doors and hatches and subsequent onboard assembly and installation.

Benefits
Provides a permanent replacement solution for obsolete chillers by enabling installation of modern, higher-efficiency units (for example Turbocor compressor chillers). Kit delivery facilitates retrofits on vessels where hull penetration is to be avoided and allows tailoring of capacity and configuration to project requirements.

Features
Heinen & Hopman supply the Replacement Chillers as complete kits designed for transport through doors and hatches; no hull side opening is required. Units are available in standard seawater-cooled or freshwater-cooled configurations. Customization options include paint finish and a range of cooling capacities to meet vessel specifications.

Manufacturing, testing and project handling
The company manages the project from detailed design through delivery, onboard assembly and commissioning. Each Replacement Chiller is fully tested for functionality and capacity in a dedicated factory test facility prior to shipment.
