GLEN’s Free Standing Capstan is a power-driven line handling device designed to improve mooring efficiency, operational safety, and long-term reliability for ports, energy jetties, and offshore terminals.

Independently mounted and easy to integrate, the capstan significantly reduces manual handling of mooring lines while supporting smooth and controlled line hauling operations.

The system can be supplied as a standalone unit or fully integrated with GLEN Quick Release Mooring Hook (QRH) stations, providing a coordinated and efficient mooring solution for modern terminals and offshore facilities.
