marine decking GISATEX® special Coating Type 2416 is a single-component, fast drying, water-based coating with a polyurethane acrylate emulsion base and containing no solvents. Specifically designed for easy use, it combines elasticity with abrasion-resistance. It is thus ideally suited for the renewal of GISATEX® anti-slip coatings. Instructions for use The surface must be dry, non-greasy, dust-free, and absolutely clean. We recommend cleaning it with a silicon cleaning material first. The area of application must be well-ventilated. Masks are not required. Do not apply in rain or in direct sunlight. The air temperature should be between +10°C and +25°C, the surface to be coated should be at least +15°C. GISATEX® special Coating Type 2416 should be applied with a short-haired paint roller to achieve an even distribution and coverage. Care should be taken to avoid gaps. One litre suffices for about five square metres (approx. 200 ml/m²). GISATEX® recommends a test of the colour and surface match before use. Since we have no control over the conditions of application, we cannot accept any liability for unsuccessful uses.
