OverviewThe 360-Degree Omni Scanning Sonar CSH-10 provides instant all-round underwater situational awareness around the vessel. Operating at a high frequency (83.5 kHz standard, selectable 81.5–85.5 kHz) with full digital beamforming, it improves discrimination between fish, seabed and structures and offers a narrow beam for near-surface school detection. Built-in motion sensor and Furuno beam stabilization deliver stable echoes even in rough seas.
Markets- Recreational boats
- Fishing vessels
Features- New Tilt Indicator — On-screen indicator shows tilt angle, linear/horizontal/vertical cursor distances, beam detection range and upper/lower beam-edge depths for clear echo positioning.
- Long-range detection up to 900 m — Enhanced long-range performance (example: wreck at ~850 m). Motion sensor increases long-range target detection by ~20% versus previous model.
- Beam stabilization — Motion sensor plus automatic beam-angle correction; transmitter and receiver beams can be stabilized independently for stable detection in rough seas.
- Superior resolution — Auto Filter and stabilization reduce noise for clearer images to identify fish schools and seabed structures.
- Fish estimate mark — Measures two fish-school candidates, displaying length, width, area and an Estimated index value for comparison (requires vessel speed, course and heading input).
- Target lock function — Automatically tracks a school, showing distance, depth, speed and direction. Two lock modes: position tracking (Target Mark) and fish-school tracking (Fish) (requires vessel speed, course and heading input).
- Echo data recording/playback — Save still and motion images to internal memory or optional external storage and play back saved data from the menu (option).
- Compact control unit — Smaller SCU-002 with function keys, tilt lever, RotoKey™ and large trackball for simpler installation and operation.
- Remote control options — Deck control for range, tilt and sensitivity. Wired remote FSV-854-MK2, wireless SCU-001 (Bluetooth®, up to 4 controllers), and Small Switch Box SCU-003 for basic up/down and power control.
- New transducer protective dome and hull units — Available with 400 mm or 600 mm travel. Faster raise/lower: 7 s (400 mm), 10 s (600 mm). Allowable ship speed: 20 kn normal, 18 kn during raise/lower operation. Retrofit-compatible with CSH-8L MARK-2 / CSH-5L MARK-2 hull tubes.
- NavNet TZtouchXL compatibility — Display echoes, overlay charts and operate CSH-10 from TZtouchXL touch displays (software V25.11 or later).
