32.5m Multi Purpose Vessel
The “Odin” is designed as a pusher tug, in combination with a 30m oil recovery barge and a 30m deck barge.
It is the first pusher tug authorised by Germanischer Lloyd (a Hamburg-based classification society) and the SeeBG (German seafarers’ liability insurance association) for use in the coastal region administered by the ALR Husum (State Office for Coastal Protection in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany). This vessel complies with all safety requirements and operates as an oil recovery vessel while connected to the oil recovery barge. The “Odin” has been awarded the environmental protection label ”Blue Angel”, the first multi-purpose vessel to receive this distinction.
