Description

Overview
The TackFurl range is a manual headsail furling system integrating an internal halyard lock, eliminating the need for a top swivel and featuring a compact, low-profile drum. It is engineered to simplify headsail handling while maximising luff and reducing mast compression.

Main advantages
  • Integrated internal halyard lock for secure halyard retention without external swivel hardware
  • No top swivel required, reducing rigging complexity and compression on the mast
  • Compact low-profile drum that improves deck space and line lead
  • Maximum luff with reduced mast compression for improved sail shape
  • Adjustable tack point to optimise tack geometry
  • Smooth manual furling in and out with low operating effort
  • Patented torque management design for improved sail control

Features & options
  • Manual furling concept with integrated halyard lock and no external top swivel
  • Adjustable sliding drum with Cunningham line for fine luff tensioning
  • Option to lead Cunningham to cockpit for easier trimming under sail
  • Available accessories: fairleads, sail feeders and furling line kits
  • High-performance bearings (Torlon) available for reduced friction

Installation (summary)
  • Hoist the sail using the trigger or hoisting line
  • Tighten and engage the internal halyard lock on the reduced-diameter halyard
  • Slack the hoisting/trigger line and secure the furling drum
  • Downhaul the luff and use the sliding drum/Cunningham for final tuning
  • Check tack-point adjustment and secure fittings before sailing
