This top-class engine is purpose-built for marine applications. This very powerful lightweight engine is an extreme advantage in this class. Due to its unique performance/weight and performance/space ratios (powerful in combination with low weight/compact shape), the motor is suitable for almost any application. Thanks to the double turbo, the Diemmax V12 already delivers its maximum torque at low revs, so that the boat immediately gets up to speed. There is no turbo gap.
After 10 years of converting V12 engines for marine use, we in 2015 decided to develop an entirely new engine. A compact and aluminium V12 diesel 100% developed for the maritime sector. After more than 4 years of building and development, a prototype has now been run on the test bench for hundreds of hours. We will soon start with test runs in our ribs.
The lightweight motor ensures that a boat can be (easily) lifted and improve handling and top speed. Compactness provides considerably more space for the desired maintenance. The Diemmax engines have, thanks to the twin turbo, an amazing low-end torque and no noticeable turbo lag. This means that the peak torque is available almost immediately after accelerating. 500-600 HP, but still the lower fuel consumption rate of a modern premium diesel engine.
Bobtail, Sterndrive, Gearbox, V-Drive, Jetdrive, surface drive, all these options are available with the Diemmax engines. Available with different sterndrive models and installation hardware to fit most newer and older Mercruiser and Volvo Penta sterndrive models. We offer complete drop-in packages with sterndrives, single or duo props. Drop center with straight or angles down output shaft. We have a drop-in package with ZF Gearbox in different gear ratios. Installation hardware for almost any gearbox is available. Suitable for different brand V-drives. We have drop-in packages with V-drive in different gear ratio. With a special exhaust system to fit the V-drive configuration in the boat. With the jetdrive configuration, the Diemmax engine connects to the jetdrive. For maximum efficiency connect the Diemmax V12 to a surface drive. Only the propeller blades and protective fin come in contact with the water at high speeds. More speed and more fuel efficiency.
Smooth and easy control of the boat with the MTX Electronic Shift and Throttle Control. With additional functionality for trim systems, bow- and stern thrusters, lights, pumps and more. Easy to install on gearboxes with electronic control and also on mechanical controlled gearboxes with the DGX Actuator.
