Description

Design & Construction The 5000 Series Blower is specifically designed and built for the rigors of the marine environment not adapted from other industries. With polypropylene composite housing and fan wheel, this unit provides a compact blower with excellent corrosion resistance and light weight. Simple 5″ (127mm) round duct connection to the inlet and outlet simplifies installation. It features a rugged non-metallic wheel with a medium pressure, low noise characteristic. With non-sparking construction and stainless steel fastenings, it is ideal for OEM applications where a reliable, continuous duty, compact blower is required; especially where inlet and outlet ducting sizes are limited or restricted. Tank vent fume extraction, bilge air extraction, battery box ventilation, galley hoods, lazarette and engine room ventilation are just a few of the wide range of applications for this centrifugal fan. Environmental Operation for the polypropylene composite housing and fan wheel is recommended up to 165°f (70°C). Motors A 208-230/440-460 VAC, 1/4 to 3/4 HP (depending upon model selected), 50/60 HZ three- phase direct drive motor is utilized to provide quiet continuous duty service. Motor is totally enclosed (TEFC) and is available with Classification and/or optional I-EEE-45 Certification. Motors are provided with a seal at the motor shaft to inhibit the entry of fumes from the fan into the motor housing or surrounding atmosphere adjacent to the installed fan. Motor frames are corrosion resistant aluminum with standard foot mounting. Designed for worldwide applications this blower may be provided in nearly any voltage required.
