D-RC.T – Slewing type davit for liferaft handling, toppable (to be folded down or hidden away) The system is suitable for launching a liferaft with the full complement of people from the embarkation position to the water level by gravity. In case of black ship the raft is slewed from the stored position to working position and then to outboard embarkation position by means of "stored power". Recovery of liferafts, including complete equipment and launching crew, by electric or manual drive. In case of multi-raft handling, the winch drum has a special “quick return" function for fast hoisting of the empty hook. A remote control for the requirements to initiate lowering from inside the raft is installed. The remote control system is supplied completely with a stainless steel wire and a hand grip.
