The Cressi Emperor hybrid BCD combines the benefits of jacket-style and back-inflation designs, offering surface stability and a streamlined underwater trim. Designed for comfort, the Emperor features Cressi’s patented Self-Pivoting Waistband (SPWB) system. This innovative design connects the waist straps to the jacket with a pivoting mechanism above the hips, allowing the waistband and jacket to move independently and naturally with your body for improved freedom of movement and a secure fit. The shoulder straps have wide 50mm pivoting buckles that adjust as you move your shoulders. This adaptability is further improved by a sliding D-ring connection on the lower strap, making the BCD comfortable to use and easy to put on - even when manoeuvring around drysuit valves. For a truly individual fit around the shoulders and chest, the adjustable chest strap can slide up or down, allowing you to position it for personal comfort or to accommodate a drysuit inflator hose. The Emperor's semi-rigid padded back plate means the BCD can be folded for compact storage in your dive bag. The soft Air-Net lining adds comfort and promotes quick water drainage, without adding buoyancy. Two large zippered pockets and six steel D-rings provide generous storage and attachment options.
